The content of this course includes the definition of health information, its purpose, developments related to health, prevention from diseases, methods of developing a healthy lifestyle, hygiene, harmful habits and effects for children and young people, common sports injuries in children and youth and ways of protection; first aid, definition, purpose, emergency decision making, dressing and bandaging, transportation, respiratory and cardiac arrest, injuries and hemorrhages, heat injuries, burns, poisoning, occlusion and suffocation, fractures and other musculoskeletal injuries, animal and insect first aid for bites; and information on the importance of first aid in accidents and traffic accidents.
