Exploration of the broader social and economic landscape in which design is practiced, including sustainability and design policy. Organizational aspects of design management, including various models and approaches. Forms of employment for industrial designers, such as entrepreneurship, consultancy, and in-house design teams. Understanding the significance of user and contextual awareness from the designer`s perspective. Interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork in new product development processes. Consideration of diversity, equity, and inclusion in design practice.
