Course content
Introduction to diverse projection systems used in design communication, focusing on the fundamentals of perspective drawing. Exploration of key parameters such as the angle of view, eye level, and viewing distance in perspective projection. Deconstruction and reconstruction of additive-subtractive geometries and compound objects through sketching. Creation of pictorial representations of everyday products by paying particular attention to their 3D forms and proportions, composition of the drawing, and other significant aspects of presentation such as line weight.
