Course content

This course covers classical as well as contemporary ideas in political economy by recourse to original texts. It purports to give students a deeper theorecital understanding of the trends and prospects of capitalism as a world economic system with its characteristic institutions and dynamics. Students will have to develop their own research agenda in conjunction with relevant directed readings.
