Course content

Introduction to Programming for Economists course is intended for students with little or no programming experience. It aims to provide students with an understanding of the role computation can play in solving complex problems. It introduces core programming basics?including data types, control structures, algorithm development, and program design with functions?via the Python programming language. It covers methods such as looping and conditionals, sorting and multidimensional structures, and debugging and troubleshooting programs.
