What do METU letter grades and the NA grade mean?
Written from the official source cited below. Where a rule changes each term, this answer describes the process and sends you to the source for the current dates.
METU uses letter grades (for example AA, BA, BB, CB, CC, and so on down to FF) that each correspond to a grade-point value used in your GPA. Some non-standard marks also appear on records, such as W for an approved withdrawal and NA (not attended) when a student fails to meet attendance or required work. The precise letters, their points, and the rules for NA are set in the METU regulations, so check the official rules for the current definitions.
