Basic concepts in colloid and nano-science. Thermodynamics of (nano) interfaces. Wetting of surfaces (superhydrophilicity, superhydrophobicity). Stability of dispersions and interactions in nanostructured fluids. Surface chemistry modifications. Bottom-up synthesis of nanosized objects. Morphology of colloids. Characterization of nanocolloids. Case studies.
