The Politics of New Media

Course content

This course aims to introduce students to some basic theoretical debates on new media as well as to the roles that emerging platforms of new media technologies do and/or can play in contemporary societies.Throughout the semester ,we will read both theoretical and empirical pieces of research related to the evolution of digital media technologies and their impact on the social,cultural,political and economic life of individuals and communities.
