Course content

A course offered to senior students, focusing on terrestrial ecological methodology. Topics include measuring abiotic factors, use of maps and GIS, collecting and preserving specimens, using radio-telemetry, estimating abundance by mark-capture, and through quadrat and transect counts and estimating community parameters. Students are expected to work as a team on small projects in the field.
